When we began planning this project, behind layers of plasterboard lay over 200-year-old stone walls — a silent testimony to the local history and the spirit of the place.

As the ancient stone was revealed, it became clear that it would become the heart of the design story. Out of respect for the original material, we chose not to conceal it, but rather to illuminate it, preserve it, and continue the design language it inspires throughout the entire space. The stone walls were combined with natural, timeless materials such as matte-finished travertine, warm walnut wood, softly tinted glass, and linen and cotton textiles in sand and cream tones.

The design language is based on a precise balance between material, light, and nature — neutral shades that create a sense of calm, touches of wood that connect the space to the earth, and green olive branches that bring softness and life into the interior.

The Galilean landscape unfolding outside also becomes an inseparable part of the experience, completing a quiet, natural, and timeless atmosphere of hospitality.

This project is far more than design — it is an act of preservation and delicate revival, allowing the ancient stone to continue telling its story in a new way.
