In the heart of the Old City of Safed stands a historic building over 120 years old — Bank Klinger, one of the first financial institutions established in the city in the early 20th century. Once a symbol of commerce, community, and trust, the building has undergone a meticulous preservation process and was transformed into an interior design studio alongside a unique boutique suite.
Throughout the renovation, the original stone walls, arched openings, handmade terrazzo and terracotta tiles, and authentic metalwork details were carefully preserved, while natural materials and a timeless design language were introduced to create a connection between past and present.
The project reflects a refined dialogue between history, architecture, and contemporary design — a place where the ancient stone of Safed continues to tell a new story of creativity, inspiration, and hospitality.
