Vista Boutique Hotel in Safed

In the heart of Safed’s Galilean landscape, a boutique hotel was designed in a minimalist, soft, and timeless language — one that allows light, materiality, and natural textures to lead the experience.

The project draws inspiration from the world of Wabi Sabi — a philosophy that celebrates the beauty of natural materials, simplicity, and perfectly imperfect details. The original stone walls and natural rock formations were preserved as an integral part of the space, maintaining their authentic texture and allowing the place itself to tell its story.

The design language combines rounded lines and soft curves with rich, natural materials: Moroccan Tadelakt plaster with a deep mineral appearance, natural travertine, soft linen textiles, and refined bronze accents. The layered textures, sandy tones, and imperfect finishes create a quiet sense of warmth, calmness, and timelessness.

The interiors open toward the mountainous views of Safed, where natural light, concealed lighting, and organic materials blur the boundary between indoors and outdoors, creating an intimate and serene atmosphere.

The result is a hospitality experience that connects local authenticity, Galilean nature, and quiet, understated luxury
